Question:
I have not been feeling well for for about a month and a half, but I think that whatever is causing my problem may have started about a year and a half ago when I experienced significant unexplained weightloss and fatigue. I lost about 25 pounds in approximately 6 weeks, but eventually (months later) gained 10 pounds back, only to lose it again with this latest problem. I'm 21 years old, 5'9", 125lbs. I have abdominal discomfort that has been gradually increasing, but tends to be worse during/after meals. It is like pressure rather than sharp pain. It is located in the center of my upper abdomen, a couple of inches below my breastbone. I had to modify my diet due to a sudden sensitivity to sugar and have been experiencing frequent episodes of significant hypoglycemia. I have been extremely tired and very weak lately. I have been to my doctor and he isn't sure what is going on so I am going to a specialist soon but I am really struggling at work and wonder what I can do in the meantime.
