sometimes i have lots of floaters....read on..?

Question: every once in a while I have these wiggly little line in my eyes..I don't have bad eye sight or high blood pressure..but they scare me ..I don't have them often but when I do I remember them..what is this all about?

Answers:
They are perfectly normal. You probably see more of them when you look at the sky or a bright light.. am I right? They are the dead cells in your eye. However if you suddenly see a big shower of them or lots of sparks ... you should see your optometrist at once. This could mean a detachment of the retina. I saw a lot of them after I was hit in the head really hard during a car crash. My eye was actually turned inward and stretched on the optic nerve and almost snapped my 3rd nerve. I know a lot about that stuff unfortunately.
