i used to have the same symptoms and i would throw up. it's called dysmenorhea (probably spelled wrong). usually birth control is the best way to treat it. your doc might also give you a good muscle relaxer. the good news is, child birth won't seem so bad. the cramps i used to have on my period felt exactly like active labor contractions. also, usually your period will get easier after you have had a child, of course you're 16 so I don't recommend having a child yet but at least you know it won't last forever.

I would definetly see a doctor, they can help get relief, you shouldn't suffer like that.
It's normal. Depending on your age. You should take light exercise. Also nsaid are good pain relief. A heat source on your tummy helps. Hot water bottle or electric heating pad. If you feel it might be more than that I would see thr Doc or GYN. See a doctor! Also, try extra strength Midol - it really helps. I usually have to sleep my entire first day because the pain is so bad. There are also some sites on the internet that sell all-natural vitamins that can reduce the pain - but talk to your doctor soon!
Everyone has those types of cramps but you can see if your doctor and they maybe able to prescribe birth control pills some say that helps.
I suffered the same symptoms from the time I first started having my periods. My doctor put me on birth control for about 3 months and it was a blessing. It stopped so many of my symptoms and eased the rest. After I had my first child, I did not have near the problems. The doctor said my body was having a really hard time adjusting to all of the hormone fluctuations, and that is why he tried the birth control.

Your doctor can help you with these symptoms. Sometimes they use birth control pills that regulate your period, the flow usually decreases and your bloating and cramps can be minimized. I think you have suffered enough. See an OBGYN or visit Planned Parenthood for help.Even a Family Practitioner can help with this problem. I hope you feel better soon. Definitely go see a DR.-I had similar pain and found out I had a cyst on each ovary--could be dangerous!
You should see a doctor, you may have endometriosis. The women in my family have problems with cramps.so you are not alone. Maybe even try birth control pills, some help to experience less cramping.
I can feel were u r come from because i feel the same way when its my time of the month. Jus try to exercise move around or something. If not by u sitting down that will cause u to be in more pain.
What dietary changes and meds have you already tried? Does your Mom have similar issues with pain or is there a family history? Do you sometimes have to leave school or miss school or other activities due to pain? Have you already discussed this with your family dr? I would see a doctor just to be safe. I had terrible cramps when i was younger endd up in the E.R. once a month . I learned if i didnt use tampons and stayed away from caffiene and sugar for that week it helped also try hot baths and hot tea
