no, there are medical reasons that birth control is used for, and also it shows that you are being responsible about what you are doing by trying to prevent any unwanted pregnancies.

Other Answers:
yes

no because if it prevents the birth of a child that you can't take care of, then a life was saved. jeez, i feel so enlightened! I use it daily!! It prevents pregnancy. However, not STD's so use a condom for that. It also regulates your cycle and helps you to enjoy yourself more without worry.

it is all up to you if you don't want to get pregnant and stuff i would defiantly use it.

The Catholic church teaches against it because they want more members.

All others pretty much go along with it. It is far better than using abortion to kill a baby just because you don't want to be pregnant.

Don't use abortion as birth control.

I started to use the pill the regulate my period because I used to pass out everytime I was on my period. Now my periods are short and pleasant. But if you are actively sexually it prevents unwanted pregnancies. But remember it doesn't prevent STD's or AIDS. not if u don't want to have babies

It's not exactly wrong, but it isn't exactly healthy.

Birth control isn't 100% effective @ times, even when used with a back-up method [condom, sponge]. Trust me, I KNOW!

I've been on the Pill, Patch & Depo-Provera. even that Seasonale nonsense: they were wonderful for preventing pregnancy, but the side-effects [blod-clots, nausea, headaches, dizzines] made me horribly sick.

To each his own, and maybe you won't have this problem. Just make sure you go over it with your physician on what's the best one.

I couldn't do it anymore, I didn't like the way it made my body feel.
