I've been told that breast feeding deflates the breasts. Any truth to that?
Pardon me if it sounds a tad ignorant but the prospect of her boobs looking like a plastic bag half-full with water is NOT an attractive one.

My breasts never deflated and I breastfed 4 kids. Mine are still big and they dont sag or anything else like that. I have never heard of a womans breasts deflating because of breastfeeding

well you might be nice to suggest a boob job after all is over and done with since you are so grossed out over a boob that your child sucked on for however how long she intends on nursing.
well they will have been inflated after pregnancy then with breast feeding thye will return to normal size eevntually. but breast-feedign is a MUST.

Well in my experience it does cause some change in size, but I wouldn't say it "deflates" them. I have three children and mine got a bit smaller after each of them had weaned, but always went back to normal size within a year or so. I promise you, her boobs will not look like a plastic bag half-full with water. But if for some strange reason they do, knowing that your child got the best thing in the entire world for him or her should outweigh any physical aversions you might have. Like someone else said, boobs are for babies!

Been off of Provera pills for a week and still no period, what is wrong?
There is a certain amount of deflation that occurs during breast feeding, but only the mother will notice. Women can feel 'full' or 'ready to burst' as my wife puts it, and feeding will relieve that pressure. I have never been able to see the effect, but my wife claims it is there.
OK I have four kids and breast fed the first and the last, I was 19 and had trouble with my premie twins in the middle...
Anywho I always get bigger ones when feeding and smaller than before baby after. My sisters...both a c cup before babies...had D when they were breastfeeding and B's after...they both shrunk while their weight stayed about the same. I myself have a lovely pair of flat LOOOOOOONG pancakes...LOL
Im getting a boob job and glad I breast fed the kids...it helps you lose weight I know that...and it's the most wonderful bond while feeding - only something you can give to him/her! Very special...your boobs may or may not get damage from the breastfeeding, don't base your decision on that please.
