Question:

Answers:
do you sleep on that arm? you may be cutting off circulation while you sleep. also, do you type a lot or use a computer a lot? it could be carpel tunnel syndrome. go have it checked out by a dr.

Other Answers:
carpel tunnel or pinched nerve in neck
Do you work with your hands a lot? It could be any number of things from a cyst to a circulation problem you definitely should go see a doctor and have it checked out.
maybe you're sleeping on it..sounds like decreased circulation..is it cold too? hold it down to get blood into it and then move it around a bit..that should help. if it persists even when awake, call your dr..could be sx of more serious issues.

Hope this helps ;)
Carpal tunnel and/or tennis elbow.
Most likely loss of circulation due to your sleeping position. Do you sleep with the arm above your head, or on your stomach using your arm as a pillow? I would ask about Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. The blood supply and nerve supply can be compressed in this area (a triangle with the side of your lower neck at the collar bone level as the base and the point towards the side of the shoulder)Carpal Tunnel syndrome will bother the hand ONLY and occurs due to loss of space in the wrist due to chronic inflammation. Carpal tunnel will bother you any time you use the hand repetitively, not just when you wake up.
