Woman Only?
Question:
Answers:
I have heard that the people in the service have pretty good health care. Ask if you can get botox shots in your arm pits because of overactive sweat glands.
But personaly, try not to worry about it. It is natural to sweat and it is your bodies way of releasing toxins. How about treating the stains on your shirts by soaking them in tide detergent? And, wear colors that do not make the wetness darker.

I would suggest using Gold Bond powder over your antiperspirant. It'll soak up the wetness!
Have you tried Tussy? It's cheap, but it works really well! Have you tried Mitchum? It worked for me .
Same problem here. What I tried was to simply put plain powder under my armpits. Like baby powder. It helps. But if you continue to have these problems I would suggest that you see a doctor. You may have over sweating disorder. Hope this helps and feel free to tell me if it works!!

Personal experience
There are deodorants and there are anti-perspirents. If you have not tried an anti-perspirent, you may wish to.
If you are sweating because you are working hard, then to try and cut down on the sweating may not be a good thing. Sweating serves a purpose, and heat stroke may result if you cut back on your water intake, to avoid sweating.
There are pads (fabric with absorbent layers) that can be attached to your clothes to absorb the sweat.

Liz, I have this problem also and mine is due to medications I am on and also the fact that I am going through menopause and I am in my early 30's. It all sucks so bad and it is so embarrassing. I use a spray anti-perspirant/deodorant and on days where I know it is hot and I will sweat more than usual I use a deodorant powder to absorb the extra sweat. I just buy Suave because I have tried all the more expensive brands I swear it works better than any of the others for me. As for the stains, get a good stain remover or Oxyclean and pretreat your shirts overnight prior to washing them. Works for me. Also, scrub, I mean scrub your underarms with a washcloth and deodorant soap very very well daily. It helps to exfoliate all the dead skin cells and also helps prevent the staining from being so bad. I know this may not be much help, but it is what works for me. I wish I had us a miracle cure. Good luck and props to you for serving in our armed services. God Bless you! use alum.wet in water and rub slowly at armpits you will feel the difference.
