I have been experiencing pain right underneath my chest on and off for two years feels like gas?

Question:
I seem to get it on and off with different foods or even drinks. It is very painful and to make myself feel better i have to curl over burp/ toot. I tried using gas X but that didn't work. I also went to the hopsital before and was told my gallbladder was having spasms, and was given a prescription for buscopan 10mg, which doesnt help. Any ideas of what I can do to control this/prevent/treat..the doctors i have went to seem to have no idea

Answers:
Well I have a pain like that...Its called Costchrondritis....its from stress and eating certain types of food. The doctor gave me a prescription of Ibruprofen 600. And I take that when the pain comes. So what I recommend for you is some Motrin 600

Any problem like this you should consult a doctor.
If the pain is under your right chest (slightly below the ribcage) then yes, it could be your gallbladder. The gallbladder does indeed sometimes spasm, but that is usually caused by gallstones or an inability of the gallbladder to function normally. I the foods you are eating are high in fat this will happen frequently. Find a gastroenterologist (gastric doctor), and get there pronto.
Could be acid reflux too.
I had the same thing, my gallbladder was tested okay. It ended up being acid reflux. Ask you physician for testing.
