Question about braces?

Ok 2 of the color rubberbands they put on my brackets fell off. does this mean my teeth are going to move cause the 2 of the color rubberbands fell off or are they just to make your braces look hott

You need to call your orthodontist right away.. the bands are there to tighten the teeth to pull them together....
If they fell off, its because you either bit into something sticky or hard, or they just did a crummy job putting them on... Hope this helps, and GOOD LUCK!

The rubberbands don't matter at all, they are just for show. You can take all of them off and it wont matter.

You should call your orthodontist and see if he or she needs to see you before your next appointment. These rubberbands if you are talking about the ones that go around the brackets are used to help hold the wire in place, but sometimes it is okay if they come off if you will be going to the doctor soon.

Get to know your braces well. Search for the term "o-ring" then contact your ortho.

i don't think they play any important role in the fixing of your teeth...i'm pretty sure the rubberbands are just there to make the braces more colourful and less dull to look at.. however if anything had happened to the brackets i'd have advised you to call your orthodontist.. if you're still worried about this, you can call your orthodontist's office and ask them for advice..... i'm sure they'r be more than happy to help... take it from someone who's had more than her fair share of broken dental appliances, a couple of torn rubber bands won't affect your teeth..

When I had braces so of my bands snapped. you need to get to your orthodontist right away. then bands hold the wire in place.

you should go in for an emergency appointment. Once the ortho people forgot to put on an o-ring and i noticed it when i got home. i didnt think that it was a big problem so i waited til the next appointment and once they put on that rubberband my tooth ached a lot.
hahah. i wish it was only to make your braces look hot. that way your teeth wouldnt hurt so much. but its to pull the teeth into the right positions.
