soury virginal discharge?

Question:
i have a very delicate outer viginal wall which gets bruised by the wipe of tissue and i am releasing a white sourly discharge.this happens just before my monthly periods or when am on medication.it tends to be itchy and uncomfortable.the only thing i have tried using is salted water to clean up,this reduces the itching for a while. i wonder what this condition is and i would be very gratefull if i receive the help i desperatly need.

Answers:
It sounds like you are getting a yeast infection every month when your period starts. This is due to the change in the ph in your vagina caused by hormones. This is not uncommon, in fact I have this problem myself. The best thing to do is to see a gynecologist and explain your symptoms. Most likely you can get a perscription for Diflucan, which is a one pill dose for yeast infections. You might also want to discuss the ways your diet can affect your body ph as well. In the mean time, I've found that taking AZO YEAST pills the week before and the week of my period help to lessen the effects of my monthly yest infections. I also use Vagisil to help with the itching, this seriously has saved the day many times. I also try and make sure my bum is dry after I shower or bathe, and I find that wearing panty liner and changing it often helps keep me clean. But really, go to the doctor and get help, you don't have to suffer like this every month! Good luck!

sounds like a yeast infection try some yeast infection products.
Just don't taste it, if it's unpleasant. See your doc. Don't make him taste it to prove your point. It can keep sour to itself.
This sounds like you have a yeast infection. You can get plenty of yeast infections back to back sometimes for a variety of reasons. You need to go to the store and get you somthing that is specifically for yeast infections. Or talk to your doctor and let them check you to make sure it is a yeast infection. If it is they will prescribe something for you. I would try to go to the store first and use something. The store brands really work well too. Try this first and see how things work out.
I suggest to go to your OBGYN...there is got to be something that the doctor can prescribe to you...and I am sure that there are tissue...or even feminine wipes for sensitive virginals...but go see a doctor...that can't be normal...if you are taking antibiotics...some women get yeast infection...for that medication...but go see a OBGYN...

Good luck & take care!
doctor
