I have seen this and the treatment was of all things progesterone suppositories (vaginal). Talk to your doctor, if the pregnancy is caught very early on then the treatment can be started and the pregnancy carried to term. Typically there is some other cause though age does play a factor.

Ask your doctor about Progestrone tablets. You have to take it everyday till your baby is born. This is a not so uncommon problem. Dont worry.
I have not dealt with this personally, but three very close friends of mine have. Each of them had several miscarriages, all around the 11th or 12th week. Once they started getting the supplemental progesterone, they did not miscarry. Each now has several healthy children.
My wife had the same problem, she miscarried 3 times all at 5 weeks, the last time she got pregnant the doc gave her progesterone supplements and we now have a healthy 10 month old son
it depends how old you are if you are going through menopause then that could be a reason
