Question:
ok, ive been on birth control for a little over 2 years. ive never had a problem with it, but i always get sooo stressed out when i know im going to start my period. stupid..i know! but i cant help it!!! im always so scared that im going to be pregnent. i know that it has a high effective rate, but i still cant stop thinking about that 1% chance. does anyone else feel this way? or do i over stress? any ideas on what to do?

Answers:
The only way to ease your mind about not falling pregnant is abstinence...otherwise you can still fall pregnant. Check out the effectiveness of all contraception methods in the list below...and don't be so hung up about getting pregnant you can make yourself sick, it also sounds like you have a form of PMS. So maybe discuss with your doctor or clinic nurse other forms of contraception that doesn't work on your hormones as much maybe there's something better for you.
