I am currently breastfeeding,a. my amount I produce has decreased.How can I get my bust size& production up?

I am breastfeeding but since I had my daughter 2 weeks after I have decreased.What can I do to increase back or more??I drink at least 60 oz. of water and pump often,And I wont take pills to increase.what can I do?what have you heard or done?

The more milk your baby drinks or you pump out, the more you will produce. (gradually)

Hello I have heard to get the milk flowing run warm water over the breast. yes taking pills will probably contaminate the milk. put a heating pad on them same as water flow. I hope it helps.

May I ask why you won't take pills. They gave my sister Reglan which is given for acid reflux and off market for increasing milk production. She produce plenty for the baby but never did produce much excess. Sometimes it's just that way. Don't give up and good luck

My daughter have a baby last year and what she did was to stimulate both breast at the same time or hour you use to feed you baby. Normally when a person Brest feed a baby at the same time Avery day, the bust started getting full of the milk. Also es good , if you for any reason stop feeding the baby, put over the bust a warm towel pomp and save the milk in the freezer or to let it go.

Warm oatmeal and other comfort foods often help. Also, nursing her in a quiet peaceful setting with a glass of water and a good book might help. Anytime you feel stressed, tired or unhappy, your milk supply will be affected.

That's normal!
It's your body getting back to its old shape, which is normal at 2-3 weeks. That's about when your baby's needs change too, and when a routine is established.
If the amount of dirty diapers has decreased drastically, there could be a problem.

If you're doing it for bigger boobs, I understand. :) But it will become painful!

Also, it's probably too early to give your daughter the pumped milk in a bottle, but if you have to, then that could be throwing you off whack a little bit. Also, no pacifiers, as tempting as they may be!
