It sounds like she has an irregular cycle. I can't tell if she generally hates sex or just during her period. If she generally hates it, you should probably try to be better in bed for her. If she only hates it during her period, it could be...

A) a hormonal change. during a period, her chemicals change completely. Some women become really horny and the other half can't stand the thought of sex.

B) she might be in pain. when a gal gets her period, she is shedding the lining in her uterus and it hurts like hell. My periods are actually more painful then the contractions I had giving birth to my daughter.

C) she might feel it is dirty or gross to have sex. I was uncomfortable with "bloody" sex for a long time. My husband had to reassure me that he didn't find it gross and that is was OK.
