i feel sick sad ashamed worried about my future. Worst of all we talked about std and he said he always got tested he must have known he had it. Dont guys know these things???i mean they know thei p88888s dont they?????Why ar there rotten men who spread diseasae and dont tell theladies.!!!!!!Why!!!???

just chill! it will be ok i promise. sometimes guys don't know. it is much harder to detect in men. your future will be fine too. mine was! i found a wonderful man who loves me no matter what i have. besides, it gets better with time. the breakouts become fewer and fewer, and less painful too. you are going to be ok. you will get used to it, and you will learn how to deal with certain situations involving the "problem" (you're right about it being an ugly word). i'm very sorry you're burdened with it, but the first step is to accept it. good luck!!! pray for a cure!

Don't be ashamed..you'd be surprised at how many people actually have herpes. Some people..especially guys can be carriers of the herpes virus yet show no symptoms. Your first year is usualy the worst with the most out breaks but after that they should taper off. Some people go years without ever having a problem. Like I said you'd be surprised..do some reading they say that 3 out of 4 people carry the virus. Chin up!
