I'm having bad cramps.?
Question:
Answers:
I suggest lots of water, no soda or coffee(caffeine), no salt. All of these cause bloating which make your cramps worse. I also suggest going on your lunch break to the drug store and getting some of those thermacare heat wraps, the ones for menstral cramps. They work wonders. You could always try midol too, but it personally does nothing for me. I feel for you sweetie I have really horrid cramps too, I hope this helps!

call a doctor if your normal pamprins and motrins and midols aren't working, I am sorry you are in pain, really I am Try taking Naproxin, it helps me.
I've had better results with Naproxen, for pain, which is what Alieve is.Walgreen has their own brand which is called Wal-proxen and is less expensive.Good luck
Aspirin is better for cramps than substitutes, because it blocks the prostaglandin hormones that cause the smooth muscles to cramp. Avoid caffeine because even though it will help the aspirin hit faster and has a diuretic effect, it increases the hormones making the cramps worse! B-vitamins will help reduce the excess bloating without affecting the hormones. They are also good for the nerves. Despite common thought, major cramping is NOT normal. Please have your gyn test for endometriosis the next time you go in. While not life-threatening, it can definitely be serious if ignored.
have u tried heat
Stuff you can do at work: Take ibuprofen for the pain. Avoid caffeine, as it intensifies cramping; this includes coffee, caffeinated tea, and some headache medicines (you can check the bottle). Also, I like to take long deep breaths, and imagine there's a warming glow in my belly and lower back. Sometimes this helps.
For when you're at home, a hot bath or shower is great to release the tension in your lower back as well as belly.
There's a yoga pose that helps me immediately. The soles of the feet are touching and your knees are out to the side. Don't worry how close your feet come to your body, or how close your knees are to the ground. It should be relaxing. When I'm at home, I like to sit in this position slightly reclined on a big pillow to support my lower back.
This pose works because it's opening up your hip area. A way to do it at work is to sit with your legs opened wide around the chair (hopefully you can do this under your desk with no one seeing! *smile*)
OK, those are all the remedies that work for me. Hope you feel better soon! :)
