i am about 5 & 1/2 weeks postpartum.......?

i started exercising a about a wk and half ago. slow at first then i started pushin myself on an elipitcal machine. i know it takes time to heal so is it possible to damage my pelvic area and stomache without bein healed up? or just really sore cause of the muscles bein weak? i had a natural childbirth i did have a tear but that area seems ok.

Answers:
If you experience any pain, then cut back. You should be pretty well healed, and the hormonal changes of pregnancy should be gone by now.

Listen to your body. Normal post-exercise muscle pain is ok, but anything beyond that is a warning to slow down.
I you get clearance from your Dr. before you started doing a vigerous exercise program
