a part of my mucus plug came out but it stopped whats going on?

Question:
i started losing pieces of my mucus plug when i was 34 weeks and i have mild contractions now and then whats going on?

Answers:
Dont panic. The mucus plug coming out does nor mean that you are going into labor, but it does mean that your body is getting ready. It could be up to 2 weeks before you ga into labor. The pains that you are having are called braxton hicks thay are also getting you ready fot labor. When you start having contractions every 5 min or if your water breaks that is when you need to do to the hosptial.

Other Answers:
Let your Dr. know.this is the first stages of labor- could last a couple weeks- but call Dr. to be sure.
when part of your mucus plug comes out it is a sigh that you might start going in to labor soon. i would give it a few more days and see if the rest falls out. i also know that if you think that your entire mucus plug has came out you should see your physician because you can get infections and stuff because the plug is what keeps the baby and the sac away from the world right now!
Labour is starting! good luck, and call your doc!
see your DR now!.
You are probabley going to have the baby soon. When mine came out I had my baby that day. you need to let your doctor know.
Nothing bad your body is just getting ready for your baby that's all it is perfectly normal at this time to loose the mucus plug and to have contraction. in fact if this is your first child you can got at least 2 weeks early or two weeks late. oh yea DO NOT TAKE A BATH ONLY SHOWERS. the reason is b/c with it falling out if you sit in a tub of water it could cause invections to you and your baby

Your body is preparing for labor. Don't freak out, it is normal.
