I have been having really bad pelvic cramping/pains for about 10 days. The dr. is not to concerned. but i am. Is this normal. I feel like an emotional wreck. I have my first us next week 10/18 (6 weeks preg) I am so scared they are not gonna find the hearbeat (doc said we would). Is this normal. Please help if you have any info. Thanks Erika

Ohhhhh dear... You need to RELAX! I SO know the feeling but it will be okay! Being a mom starts from the second you find out your pregnant and will never ever stop. That worry you have is 100% normal! The cramping its fine, its your body changing! You will hear the heart beet! You need to enjoy your self at a time like this and not be so worried! I'm 37 weeks and I had quite the journey. They told me my baby may have spinabifita. I had to go to a hospital that was 3 hours away. It was the worst feeling in the world to know that your child may be like that. THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO. Just keep your head up and hope for the best. You get what you get, and all things happen for a reason. Enjoy and CONGRATS!!!
The biggest problem you face right now is that you are so stressed, it is going to affect your health. The stress is likely what is causing the cramps. Just relax. It's okay. The only thing you can do to have a healthy pregnancy is to maintain your good health. Beyond that you have no control, so why worry about something you have no control over.
