Can a yeast infection be the reasons for misdiagnosed pregnancy test?

Question:

Answers:
doubtful...pregnancy tests detect the presence of hCG - which increases when you become pregnant. A yeast infection could possibly contaminate a urine sample, but wouldn't create a false positive or negative result I don't believe. It might have been too soon (hormone levels too low) at the time you tested.

Other Answers:
yes it is possible the yeast infection could affect the results but it is also possible you being pregnant with the change in hormone levels caused you to get a yeast infection...before you cure the yeast infection go get a bllod test and they will tell you what cure to use because some products cab harm the baby.
I'm not sure..........

But a yeast infection is a symptom of pregnancy, because yeast infections occur when the normal levels of acid and yeast in the vagina are out of balance.
