Feminine Hygiene Question ALERT!?

Question: How can you swim wearing a tampon? I mean they leak so badly I have to wear pads with them reguarly...should I be pushing it deeper up in there? Would that stop the leak? I cant imagine how some women can swim on their period...tell me if I got it wrong.

So simple. as long as you
A. Have the correct size for your flow, (your flow sounds heavy so go with super aborbant.)
B. Inserted all the way in, just past your vaginal muscles. (the muscles you clench if you have to pee.) (if it hangs out it can get all soggy or just plain uncomfortable.
C. Change it every hour or every two instead of the usual 4 hours.

Now your good to go swimming. =)

u got it wrong!!! u shouldn't have to wear a pad AND a tampon!!!! use need to buy a higher absorbency tampon...and swim away.be sure to change it often............................ like every time u urinate change it ............

A fresh super tampon should not leak. You can swim and ride a horse. But, I would recommend the super tampon.

I'm that way the first day, so I try to avoid swimming the first 24 hours. If I do swim, I don't worry about it while I'm in the water because after all...I AM in the water. After I'm done in the water, I change the tampon and put a liner in the bottoms. You could also wear your cover up over all that. I would also recommend a black swimsuit. :)

Usually in the water your period wil lighten up because of the water pressure. For the most part you shouldn't have a problem if you're wearing a tampon that's the right absorbency.
