ever since i had a tubal ligation, ive had REALLY heavy periods.its this normal??
Question:
Answers:
Symptoms, such has heavy painful periods may be caused by a hormonal imbalance, could be caused by adenomyosis (bought on by uterus muscle and tissue being damaged, effected by the TL surgery impairing the blood supply to areas of that organ/muscle) or a combination of both. Pain also can be caused by retro bleeding backing into the sealed fallopian tubes.
There is a lot more information on the web site www.tubal.org/symptoms. I would also suggest you contact your doctor.

i think u need to talk to ur doctor. i hope u don't have any ovary problem. sorry.
Talk to your doctor! You will find out eventually! I have been having this same problem - had my tubal in January. I also have alot of pain and cramping which I never had before. I wish I never did this but my husband refused to get vasectomy.
Yep!.And funny how the doctors don't tell you this is gonna happen! Give it a while and the bleeding after intercourse will stop but your cycles will remain heavier than they were before. :-(
My mom found this when she had her tubes tied. The doctors went in and cauterized some of the tissue. It help her tremendously.
