Hormones. I learned a while back that a woman I know has lactated for 30 years. I've never heard of such a thing. Pregnancy. Also some drugs or something she could be taking can induce lacation. Also sometimes hormones can trigger lactation to start.
it must be hormonal. Has she breastfeed or even been pregnant before. Some woman lactate long after they give birth and stop nursing their babies. Hormones are so funny sometimes. You'd be surprised at how many things they are responsible for in us women. Hope this helps a bit.
It's probably hormonal or caused by stimulation of some kind. Like manipulation or even holding a baby. I nursed my 2 daughters both for 8 months successfully and still leak when I hold a baby or hear a young baby crying. My youngest is 5 and a half years old and I am 35. Some of us are more prone to it I guess. She should talk to her gyno or doc about it.
