What is wrong with me?

Question:
Whats wrong with me? I'm a 17 year old girl that seems to be healthy? My whole body aches of pains. Especially my joints. It hurts to lay down or pretty much everything. I can't get comfortable and the pain get so extreme at points I cry. I feel warm, although i shiver..what could be going on with me?

Answers:
Well it sounds like you are sick. Like how when you get the flu you have a fever and the chills at the same time, and everything aches, like your joints, so you just sleep all day. It could be something else, so if it continues, maybe see a doctor, or even a chiropractor that is trained in medicine.

Other Answers:
you might be experiencing some signs of muscular distrophy

I have no idea whats wrong with you but it sounds serious so you should see a doctor. check to see if you have a temprature, you might have mono, that one you get from sharing drinks or kissing, you should ask your mom to take you to a doc they can do tests for it, also if your bothered by bright light thats another symptom of it.

You most probably have the Flu. You should treat this symptomatically. Take some tylenol for your temp. and make sure that you hydrate yourself very well. Get rest! Your symptoms should last for a few days if it is a simple flu.

It sounds like withdrawal from heroin or crystal meth. you should go to a doctor.

I don't want to alarm you, I'm just throwing out possibilities, but could you have leukemia? Joint pain is one of the symptoms, though I'm sure joint pain can be caused by MANY other things too.
Do you have any of the following?:
Fatigue, Paleness of skin, Any Infections recently, Easy bleeding or bruising, Bone Pain, Swelling of the Abdomen, Swollem lymph nodes, Coughing, Trouble Breathing, Swelling of the Face, Headaches, Seizures, Vomiting, Rashes, Gum Problems, Or Extreme Weakness?
If so, I would suggest seeing a doctor.

You need to see a Dr immediately. You could have a form of arthritis or even MS or MD. Please get treatment ASAP. Tell your parents you need an appointment. Make an appointment to get checked out by a doctor

Start with your family doctor. You need to be seen immediately. Your symtoms could be indicitive of something that can be diagnosed and treated immediately and, hopefully, give you some much-needed relief. If your family doctor can't help you, you may want to consider seeing a rheumatologist. You symptoms sound similiar to those of fibromyalgia patients and lupus patients, but again, it is much more likely to be something simple and treatable. I wish you the best!
