Is it normal to have vaginal pain every time you have sex, six months after losing your virginity?

It's not friction type pain because we use lubrication, it only hurts at the point of entry and then after the initial stabbing like pain, it dissapears. It's just like the pain I felt the first time I lost my virginity, but it's been six months and every single time, it hurts unbearably. Should I see a doctor?
