dangerous yes/no? shower during a thunder/lightening/hail storm?
Question:
Answers:
To be on the safe side, you probably shouldn't in the freak event that lightning strikes. However... old houses used metal plumbing that could somehow be exposed on the outside of the houses, a strike to that metal could conduct itself to the shower. But, typically most plumbing done today in new construction and newer houses is pvc - or plastic - and less is exposed to the exterior, so a lightning strike possibly conducting and getting you in the shower is slim.
Other Answers:
Wait.
I think that potentially lightning could strike and go for your metal piping, even if indoor. But more likely if you're plumbing runs on the exterior. I had a friend die that way, though, and may be over cautious.
not safe during a lightening and not safe to be on phone
