If besides that it is itchy you surely have a yeast infection..it is not a bad thing and it doesn't mean you got it from a sexual contact but you should be in treatment because it will bother you too much....ask your Gyn.
It could just be mucus secretions from your vagina. How often does it happen? And does it usually happen a little before your next period? If you're really unsure about what it could be, go have a doctor check you out.
