Periode pain...?

Question:
I got my periode today and my stomach hurts sooo much, I can't take it..What can I do??

Answers:
Here are some awesome tips that worked even when I was to the point of having tears in my eyes:

1. Have soup. Really! Even if you have terrible heat! I know it doesn't seem the best, but it sure is for your pain.
2. Other than the soup, you have to have something on your stomach to warm it up. A blanket, heating pad, even your hand- anything! Just cover up!
3. Eat rice. It's great- I have it like about everytime I have my periods.
4. Take medication (I suggest Nurofen- very good stuff) + any of the above.
5. Keep away from tea, caffeine, anything soda-like, cold, alcohol and anything that can cause your excrement (to say it with a bit more dignity than most people around here) to be a bit more... "runny".
6. Just simply relax. Get your mind of it. Sounds dumb, but it's true. You need to lose yourself into something else like good music, a movie or a pleasant converstion with someone. Get someone to be there with you (unless you live alone and have no friends?) !

Anyway, thanks for reading and hope this helps! :)

Other Answers:
Call your doctor if it is really bad. Many women go on birth controll for periods. If the pain is excruciating and you had unprotected sex go the er could be more than a period.
It is natural. Do not physically exert. Take rest. After 6 to 7 months you may not have even this pain. In early morning take plain lemon water with honey in empty stomach regularly for about 4 months.
keep that place warm... try a hot water bottle and warm drinks like tea and warm water, Avoid cold foods and drink (eg. ice creams). i personally dont get period pain so i dont know if it helps...
Smile and Take Care
Take midol or aleve, or tylenol.
Drink water - 64 ounces today (2 liters); Put something hot on your stomach, like a hot water bottle - wet cloths that have been warmed in the oven, or a hot pack (if you have it).

If the warm/hot pack does not work, mildly exercise - this helps take your mind off your pain, and also stimulates the production of endorphins (natural pain killers).

If your periods are always this bad, check your diet and eliminate salt. Go to the library link at www.hufa.org and find a diabetic diet that you can do all month long. It will help keep the cramps from being too painful.
take an IBPrfein (sp), that always works for me within 30 minutes.
Hi dear , i know your pain but it think the best suggest for me is use Bro-fin and juice more , it is hurt first today but tomorrow it become better. i hope also
