I dont think there is any specific age and everybody starts maturing at diff. ages, so if you feel like exploring yourself I say go for it!
It will really help you in the future if you already know your body, what pleases it, etc.

Just find yourself a quiet place & time where nobody will walk in on you!

There isn't a set age for doing that. Babies explore their bodies when they have their diapers off. Kids play 'doctor' to see what they got.

I think when a person is curious about it then that is a good age. Some cultures and religions shun it. Modern parenting seems to be for it. Who knows?

i was around 8, i was an early bloomer. i think that is just something that comes naturally in kids.
