Has anyone ever undergone a Pituitary Tumor removal? How was it?

Question: I'm due to undergo the surgery July 27th - just a few weeks away - and am pretty nervous. They'll be going in under my upper lip and "lifting" my nose, etc. to reveal my sinus cavity to get to the tumor. If you have any experiances to share it would help!

I haven't but a friend of mine did. She had to have speech therapy for a while, I don't know why, but she came out great
