NuvaRing & Blood Clots? Is my body rejecting this prescription?

Question: My doctor gave me 3 rings to try out, but every time I try it, I get serious blood clots and a brown discharge. Did this happen to you? I really like the idea of a "once-a-month" birth control. What should I do?

Answers:
I've never had blood clots from anything like that before. You are probably getting the clots because of the amount of hormones that are being released into your system. You may need to look into a BC that has a lower does of hormones. It may take you a few different tries to get the right method for you. Keep you doc in the loop...they'll know what's best for you.

I'm on nuvaring I love it. I also get blood clots & its brown. yeah it's kinda gross, but i really don't think you have anything to worry about also the 1st few months your body is getting use to it. Check out nuvaring.com. I downloaded there timer!
