Sexual intimacy is reserved for married couples because the very act of it connects the man and the woman spiritually. That is why when we have sex out side of marriage and the relationship ends, it is hard to move on with our lives. We have become connected to this person. Many will not marry their God ordained spouses due to the other spirits from past sexual relationships lingering within. So, the answer is yes it is a sin and I suggest that you ask God to give you the discipline to abstain from it until you are married.

I know a female baptist minister who thinks that you SHOULD have sex before marriage. How else are you suposed to know if things are all good in bed? There so such thing as sin. But it sure is wrong to push your beliefs on other people.

It mainly depends on your religion. But most religions feel it is sin to have sex before marriage. There are a lot of people who have had sex before marriage, even though their religion was against it. So if you do have sex don't feel like you are the only one, because you are not. I think its important to know as much about a person as possible before you vow to God to spend the rest of your life w/ that person. Its the best way to tell if someone is selfish or generous.

Anything men do without paying women is considered a 'sin'. But yet, now that women commit 93% of divorces, then the 'church' says that adultary is ok. It really does. i dont think so it doesnt say it any where in the bible it is a teaching of the church and it only came into play like a couple of hundred years ago before that everone did it. its a natural thing its great once you dont sleep around and protect yourself
