Foul vaginal odor sometimes?

Question:
I have had yearly pap smears since I was 18, I'm 22 now. All of em were normal results. I have always had a bad smell from down there at certain times of the month. (I am on birth control pills).
I have no itching, odd discharge, or anything. I have mentioned a slight yellow discharge and the smell to my doc. and he said its normal and the pap came out normal. He said sometime b/c pills can cause the discharge, so that is normal.

It seems when I wear a panty liner, I dont notice any smell. When I do not use a panty liner, the smell is there, to me anyway, its bad.when spread my legs like when i'm sitting, it just smells discusting. Again, with a panty liner no smell.

How do i get rid of the smell. I know I sweat real bad down there, I am a bit overweight. It is very embarassing and I woud like real suggestions from other women who have this problem.

pooooooooooooooooooooooo not cuming near you

First of all. You need to get a new doctor. One that tries to help until the problem is fixed.
Secondly. your problem is common among overweight women. It could be a number of things. But what it sounds like is a cervical infection. I would go to a different doctor and let them know that you think that you have an infection in your cervix. Which is caused by too much good bacteria in the area. It's nothing that you did. and nothing that you can change by bathing, cleansing, changing your panties or anything. You need an antibiotic to cure this. It will just get worse as time goes by.

In the meantime.. I'm sure you bathe daily and change your panties. Continue to wear pantiliners everyday. Buy scented ones if they have them. When you get out of the shower. use a blowdryer down there. Make sure that you completely dry yourself in that whole area. Then use baby powder to make sure that you are really dry. and that you stay dry. This will help tremendously. Do this DAILY. If you can, try to change your panties twice a day (cotton). To continue to stay dry.. if you can't wear pantiliners.

If you feel a little hot or sweaty down there. and you are at home. Don't go and take a shower.. because that will just keep it wet. Go and wipe with toilet paper and then make sure that there is nothing left there.. then go and spread your legs in front of a fan until you are dry. You need to stay as dry as possible at all times.

Do all of this until the doctor does something about it.

that was the unsexiest message I have read. I don't know, if your doctor doesnt know, how would we? Bathe daily..change your underwear daily..use a vaginal cleanser like summers eve..Also.make sure after you urinate that your wipe real good because the urine can sit and it can develp an ammonia smell. (which is the urea.) Also try keeping some baby wipes around to freshen up when you can't shower.

I really feel your problem. You have already consulted Doctor. According to Doctor it is not a diseased condition. You have sort out a solution. It is wise to use panty liner.

maybe its' your detergent.Like perfume it dont' all smell the same on everybodies skin.Maybe that's the case with this too.If Dr. says everything ok.and nothing is wrong. Then I wouldn't worry to much about it.Maybe just were the liners all the time. You could always get a second opinion.

no matter what some say, oder is normal. Try removing some hair. hair holds the oder in (makes it smell stronger). Also I use a wipie after going to the bath room. Spray deodorants work well also and cotton panties! I know, they are ugly, but they let you BREATH *lol*. Silky fabrics get wet & stay wet. I use to be overweight and I DID NOT SMELL BADLY.EVER!
When you are carrying around a lot of EXTRA BEAUTY, you need to take special steps to make sure that others don't become offended by your extra-ness!
BUY and USE as many wipes, lotions, potions, soaps, pills, douches, creams, towelettes, powders, solutions, tampons, scented-pads and liners, etc., etc. as you can AND keep yourself clean!
Your doctor seems to be un-educated/naive/stupid (based on your description) of his reaction to your problem.
