My mom had stage 3 uterine cancer, underwent radiation and chemo, and also lost her hair.
I don't recall the exact time frame it took for her hair to grow back, but I do know that 2 summers ago she only had a few sporadic hairs (a few months after the end of chemo), and by last summer she had a full head of hair. If I had to guess, I'd say about a year, give or take a month or two.
She wore wigs in the interim. I don't know where she got them, but they were VERY nice and looked completely natural.
I don't know if the type of cancer and/or type, level, and frequency of radiation/chemo makes a difference, but it might. Perhaps there is another patient where you received treatments that has similar specifics to yours who could provide a more accurate time frame.
