I agree with many other that the age you begin to wear a bra is weighs fully on the individual and wether or not they are if you . If you feel you have breast , then it is probably time for you to get a bra. You can find you bra size as above by mearusing yourself, however I found that it was easier for me to try on bras in order to find the right one. Find a lengerie store and start trying them on. You will not only find one that fits but you will find one you like as well. I have learned over the years that a bra size isn't always accurate. Here are a few tips in finding a good bra.

(ask the attendant at the store to find you what you need, don't be scared that is there job)

If you have small breast (A-B cup) try a balcony style bra, with or without padding. This can give you an enhanced neckline, excellent uplift, and a lovely, curvy shape. Half-cup bras also flatter a smaller bust; padding at the sides and under the bust give maximum lift. Avoid bras that have square-cut bust lines; they'll flatten you even more.

If your cup size is C or greater try one with a wider shoulder and back straps to give firm support. Full cups contain the breast better and give a better appearance. Underwired bras provide better support under the bust. Smooth, plain bra styles, without too much lace, help to make your bust appear smaller.

Just remember that wearing the wrong bra can cause back problems, headaches, neck strain, rashes, and pulled ligaments. This happens when the bust is not well supported by the bra, because your breasts may begin to droop and fall to the bottom of the cup. The breast tissue will role off the chest wall and under the arm, thus pulling on the neck. This can result in headaches, since the muscles being pulled in the shoulders go all the way to the head. Reduced blood flow to the head can cause headaches and backaches, as the extra weight of the bust places more pressure on the back.

So remember pick the right bra! Be sure your breast feel comfortable in it and that they do not hang out or that they are not pulled so tight you can see ridges when you put your shirt on.

Most importantly enjoy your new womanhood! Lengerie shopping can be ALOT of FUN!

Girls can start wearing a bra as early as age 7. They can start by wearing a training bra that will get them used to wearing a bra and searching for a size is a trial and error process. You have to try on different sizes and brands until you find one that is comfortable for you.
It isn't about age, it is about size and appearance. If you're asking then chances are it is time! It also has to do with peers. If all the other girls are wearing them you don't want to feel awkward about not wearing one.
To find the size - measure around your chest, just below your breasts this is you number (ie 34 B). Then measure around the fullest part of your breast. You go up a letter (b c d) for each inch in measurement.
If you're buying your first bra, chances are a sports bra (small, medium or large) would be a good place to start
When a girl starts to form boobs and YOU can notice that they are growing then I would start to wear a bra. Now..to find your size bra ."A" size bras are for people with smaller boobs. If you are just getting into bras then you would probably wear training bras. 32 "A" or smaller. "B" size are for people that have bigger boobs and it keep going higher. The numbers like 32, 34, 36, 38 ,40 etc. are for your waist size(around your boobs and in the back). I hope I helped you out and if not.ask your friend or mom to help.
me i was late at 14
When you start crossing your arms over your chest because you feel exposed, it's time to check into it. I did at 10, some don't until wayyyyy later. Measure under you breast all the way around, then measure over the fuller part of your breast. The measurement around your chest under the breast will be your bra size ((e.i.32)) and the difference between your chest size and fuller part of breast will be your cup size ((1inch=AA, 2=A, 3=B,4=C,5=you should have had a bra a long time ago))
its not really an age its when a girl starts to develop !!
the age when a girl begins to wear a bra depends on the individual it is different for everyone. Girls develop at different paces. The best way to measure your bra size is to get a tape measure and first wrap it around you directly underneath your breast and get that measurement. Next wrap the tape measure around you breasts and get that number.

the first number will be your number size, ex. 32, 34, 36
now subtract your second number from your first number to get your cup size (A, B, C, D) example if your first number is 34 and your second is 37. the difference is 3.

So your bra size will be a 34C

if the difference is 1 you are a A cup
if the difference is 2 you are a B cup
if the difference is 3 you are a C cup
and so on
Bras, in the US, have two indicators of size, a band size and a cup size, which when combined become the bra size. The band size is expressed in inches, almost exclusively in 2 inch increments, and cup size is expressed in letters, beginning with A, and continuing alphabetically. In the case of cup sizes larger than D, manufactures will often use double or triple letter designations, with each successive letter indicating a larger cup size.

With that in mind, standard bra sizes range from 30A-46DDD. Both larger and smaller sizes are available, but they are often hard to find, and frequently need to be custom made at great cost.

As if this were not confusing enough already, band size, and cup size effect one another in one half size increments, so that the volume of a 32C cup, is smaller than the cup of a 36C cup – in fact – because the 32C band size is two increments smaller than the 36C cup size, and each increment increases the volume of the cup size one half size, the volume of a 36C cup is actually identical to the volume of a 32D cup, through the band size on the 32D is two increments smaller. This knowledge become quite helpful for girls who, when trying on bras find that they are consistently between two different bra sizes. Very likely the proper size for such a girl will be a band size one size smaller, with a cup size one size larger.

With all of this complication, and with people’s general uneasiness with anything having to do with undergarments, is it any wonder that recent estimates suggest that as many as 70% of women are wearing the wrong size bra?
