While cycle length may vary, 28 days is generally taken as representative of the average ovulatory cycle in women. Convention uses the onset of menstrual bleeding to mark the beginning of the cycle, so the first day of bleeding is called "Cycle Day one".

normally within a few of having cramps it will start.

Well, it could start at any time, then. If you are asking and you've never had a period before, it's one of the universe's great mysteries. Well that's a good sign - also if you turn into a beehatch, that is a good indicator as well.

i havn't started mine yet but i think u get cramps

They say every 28 days is the average. You're probably going to get it in a few days. To keep track, think of it this way, there are three weeks in between each period.

By your last period date. Say for example your ointed comes on the 16 it can also come on the 13 or 14 sometimes it skips back a few days or forward a few days. :-) there is not a crystal ball that you can look at to predict the future. however girls are starting earlier now. you can expect that anytime. I've actually heard of young Ladies starting as early as nine. a good indicator would be when your mother started hers. i used to tell my daughter to always have a pad or tampon with her at all times.

If ur gettin cramps then thts a sign, Ask ur mum when she started hers, as you an her could be around the same age.
Keep a pad with you at all times if ur gettin cramps as ya never know sometime ya dnt know untill ya go to the girls room.
