At first I had some issues but then I discovered the trick. Start with the smallest sized tampon you have, put one leg up on your bathroom counter and then put it in. It might hurt the first time or so the tinyest bit but you really can't feel them if they are in properly.

if it is put in properly, you cannot feel it. read the label and do exactly what it says. the only time it hurts is if you have to take it out and it's not all the way absorbed. if this happens, do not be discouraged though, you would miss out on too much. good luck! :-)

It's weird the first time you try it.but let me tell you how amazing it is compared to pads. Lining it up is strange, like I said, but just practice (sounds weird, but that's the only way to put it!) and you'll get the hang of it. And since it'll be your first time and all, get the smooth inserts and not the cardboard! It makes the first time much easier and MUCH more comfortable! Good luck!
Does not hurt at all, be sure to place it right, be calm while placing it. Don't forget to take out the last one.

if you think you have a smaller hole and you dont bleed to heavily then buy the tampons that are made for teens and then make sure its not the heavy flow but just normal.
they're not hard to put in at all. when you buy the tampons the box they come in has a piece of paper with a picture diagram that shows you exactly how to put one in.
i prefer using pads myself but i there are times i prefer using tampons. pads can just sometimes be so uncomfortable and tampons have a less likelyhood of leaking.

It'll feel weird at first, but you'll get used to it. Make sure that whichever kind you get has the whole "rounded tip," "made of plastic" stuff going on. I use cardboard once (in an emergency). Now I keep one in my purse.

it need to go in at an angle and make your it's soaked up "some stuff" before you take it out or it will hurt

it does not hurt and it's not hard to put it in as long as u relax. a little tip on putting a tampon, instead of sticking it right up, do a at some sort of an angle pointing towards front or back(cant remember, sorry)
