Your body is used to having the steady flow of hormones provided for it, and when they're suddenly gone some women's bodies can't make up for it that fast and it takes a period or two to get you regulated again.
I'd check if you're pregnant though if you have had any intimate encounters around the time you'd be ovulating.....

Yes...I was pregnant. Something no one ever tells you (including your doctor) is that it is EXTREMELY easy to get pregnant in the first month you quit using birth control. If you are not having sex, it could just be your body is readjusting to being without the hormones
