A question about the pill......?

Question:
I'm on the pill and have been for over 2 years.

Last month i was spotting for 2 weeks before my period was to arrive. This month it's just over a week for my period to arrive and i have been getting the feeling that i'm getting my period. Been having to take pain tablets. Do i feel like this because i was spotting last month and my bodies confused??

I never thought i'd say this, but i can't wait for my periods to arrive.

Is this normal??

Answers:
You may find that in the last 2 years you and your body have gone through some extensive changes. Im not sure how old you are, dont be offended if I guess you are still in your teens.

When you are on the pill you should ensure that you have your pill re-evaluated regularly, as our bodies change so do our hormones and levels.. sometime the pill that worked at the start isnt the best in the end as it becomes alot less effective in the way of menstruation..

You may find that after 2 years you need to switch to a different type. Also, make sure you have regular pap smears too - its amazing what they can detect and the results can answer for a lot of those little nitty gritty worries we have..

Wishing you all the very best
It doesn't sound normal. Best get it checked out. Could be you just need a different pill
