is it common for a 20 year old to have pcos?

Question:

Answers:
It is becoming more common. I think that PCOS is related to insulin overproduction, and that is happening at a younger and younger age, unfortunately.

I had great success using red raspberry capsules a week before and a week after my ovulation, to prevent the cyst from getting so hard it would rupture. Red raspberry tea is good too.

Other Answers:
PCOS is one of the most common hormonal disorders among women of childbearing age (from the onset of puberty or menstruation until menopause). According to the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, about 5 percent of women in the United States have it.

Very common. I was 19. I think that is about the age we start realizing something is not right.
