Accidently dropped today's birth control pill down the sink - week 4 placebo, what should I do?

Question:
Today's dosage (Levlen pill) is gone, slipped out of my hand as I was about to take it and went straight down the drain of the sink... It's the fourth week of the package, so it's just a "sugar pill" placebo, right? Should I skip taking the pill today and resume tomorrow, or should I take tomorrow's dosage today and just start my next pack of pills a day earlier? Thank you!

Answers:
According to the prescribing information, if you have the 4-week set of pills, the last week is a placebo. The regular pills are colored orange and the placebos are colored pink. So, if this is a pink pill you dropped down the sink, you would just skip the pill today and resume at the regular time tomorrow. These pills have nothing in them, so you should be fine.
If it is just the placebo, then don't worry about it. Just skip today's and take tomorrow's. You don't even technically have to take the sugar pills - they are mainly there just to keep you in the habit of taking your pill every day.
