Pregnant or going thru the change, or something else?

Question:
I'm 40 years old, never had an abnormal period, never missed a period, except when I was pregnant with my now 15 year old, and now I'm 2 weeks late and I've taken 2 tests and they are negative, what's up?

Answers:
It takes at least 2 weeks after conception for a home pregnancy test to come up postivie (usually ).
Go to the doc.
Blood tests are very accurate.
Tell them what is going on, they'll do a more sensitive test and see what is going on.
FH, and LSH hormone levels can be run to see where you are at in the change.
It sounds like a fluke thing, but I would see a doctor for a test anyway. Good luck.
