What do I do to make my complexion better?
Question:
Answers:
Acne is caused from hormonal imbalances causing the glands that hydrate your skin to secrete too much sebum. The excess sebum clogs your pores and occludes the perfect environment for bacterial to grow and cause inflammation and infection. Contrary to popular belief it is not caused from certian foods or not washing your face too often, however, washing your face with benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid helps to kill bacteria responsible for the inflammation. Unfortunately, other that treating it as it comes along, it is just a side-effect of youth and there's not much you can do about it. I'm 24 and I still get them. There are certain prescription medications like antibiotics or Accutane that can treat the problem, but it doesn't sound like yours is bad enough to merit these drugs yet.

Go to a dermatologist.
Go to a tanning salon at least once a week, maybe even twice, it will dry up your break outs and give you a nice complexion at the same time! I use proactiv it works wonders!!
Had same problem. Drink lots of water..improves your complexion and skin. Use Oil of Olay for sensitive skin daily. Use a face scrub only once a week. And use spf when going in the sun. You may think your cute now being all tan,..but in a few years your face will really show the damage.
Ice will take the swelling down. Visine will take the red out. Chart what you eat then chart the break out. No soda.
