robotic hystorectomy?

I am having the da vinci hysto done and am hoping to hear from anybody that has had it done before.. it is quite new to the area i live in and am not sure what to think any input would be great

I've not had a da vinci perform a procedure on me, but I've worked around them before. The great thing about the DV is that it's extremely precise, minimizing the trauma to your body. DV's can make microscopic movements perfectly that no human nand could ever hoe to make. Also, if the DV isn't working out there's a highly trained and competent surgeon just a few steps away surrounded by a skilled staff that all want you to come away better than you were. The DV is new and a bit intimidating, but it is useful technology that wll reduce the post-op comlications f your procedure.
