Bad Pelvic & Cervical Pain?

Question:
I am 20 years old, and have been having really bad pain in my pelvix and cervix. It feels like I am being stabbed and ripped open. It hurts so bad that I can barely breath or walk. When the pain like this happens, I can't move, or it hurts even more. I end up having to sit in the fetal position, and it lasts for about 1/2 hour. I have gone to 2 different doctors. OBGYN and my Family Practitioner. I was checked for all STDs, Herpes, HPV, and the test results came back negative. They also checked me for Endometriosis, and that came back negative. I did end up have a Urinary Tract Infection, but they put me on some antiobiotics and that cleared up right away. I had to go back into the OBGYN to make sure that it did go away, and it did. But the pain is still here. It used to happen after sex, but now it doesn't. It happens any time, except for after sex. Can someone please give me some answers. I am only 20 and can't live like this.

Answers:
When you say "checked for Endometriosis," do you mean through surgery? That's the only way to diagnose it. Any other method of diagnosis is considered uncertain, as the disease must be visualized and biopsies must be confirmed for ectopic endometrial glands and stroma. Anyone who tells you that you do or don't have Endo based on anything other than surgical intervention - at which time the disease can also be removed - is either a.) lying to you or b.) doesn't have a clue about the disease.

Even if you did have surgery, it could be a false negative if the doctor was only looking for traditional powder burn lesions and never bothered to take pathology from any sites inside the pelvis and abdomen.

You don't have to live with the pain. Get a new doc, one that understands Endo. Follow these links for help:
