It's not the sperm that is salty -- it's the fluid it is swimming around in (semen). You can't taste an ovum OR a sperm, as both are too small. Not to mention the fact the ova are deep inside the woman's body, not floating around down by the vaginal opening (at least, not until she menstruates)!
