A question about the pill and antibiotics...?
Question:
I took some antibiotics for a week (penicillan)... two weeks ago. I am not using the pill to protect myself against getting pregnant.. just to regulate my periods.
Would this effect my bleeding pattern?? I'm not spotting or anything.. but i am due in like 9 days and i have been feeling like i am going to get them. You know the feeling you get when you're about to get periods.
Answers:
Penicillin shouldn't affect your periods but if you have been unwell then your illness may do... although perhaps you're just ovulating which can sometimes feel like you're getting your period...
