Fluid retention?
Is there a natural way to get rid of fluid retention, are there certain foods that would help
Answers:
Estrogen fades as you get ready to start a period. Estrogen helps keep insulin under control. The purpose of insulin is to open the "cell's mouths" to let food and water in. Thus, right before your period, insulin is madly tucking food and water in cells, causing bloating and weight gain. If you have too much insulin, this may contribute to retention.
If you have had your kidneys checked, and they are operating normally, intermittent fluid retention is supposed to be relieved by eliminating salt and ingesting 64 oz of water (or more) per day.
The best way i have found to loose water weight is keep your sodium levels low and eat alot of celery.
