How does puberty start in girls?

Question:
With all the confusing Tanner stages and whatnot it really confuses me like what to look for. I can't tell what a breast bud is- does it still remain when the nipple is sticky-outy or does it go away when it gets sticky-outy? I'm 12.

Answers:
Puberty usually starts with breast development and body hair. The order doesn't matter. I had body hair around 8 and got my period at 11. My first bra didn't come along toil I was 12 . everyone is different.

you'll be in puberty until after your first period.

Your breasts will start to grow, and you'll start getting hair in your armpits, crotch and legs.

I'm not sure what you mean by breast buds, unless its when the nipples start to protrude more and then the breasts start growing.

Also your skin will change (get more oily) and you'll maybe start getting pimples.
