How come some people love to eat fish, and they enjoy the smell of it long enough to eat it, but..?

I've been told that if fish starts to smell fishy then that means it's not fresh enough and it won't be as good. So, even fish lovers don't necessarily like that smell.

Also, I like pizza, but I wouldn't like it if my husband smelled like pizza all the time, that would be gross like he was greasy and cheesy like a pizza.

Because it is soooooo gooood and gooood for you too.
